Bolly.id - Hello Bollywood.id lovers, it's time for our movie review week! Watch out for Bad Newz, a one-of-a-kind story about a woman bearing a child of two different fathers.
The film starts when Akhil Chadha (played by Vishal Kaushal ) meets Saloni Bagga (played by Triptii Dimri ) and hits it off immediately. They get married and settle down. Bagga works as a chef in a restaurant. She is aiming to receive the Meraki Star Award. Chadha would pop up often in her workplace causing trouble. In one of his visits, he witnesses a male customer insulting her. He beats up the man, and to her dismay, she tells him to leave. When Bagga goes home she has a big fight with Chadha and he tells her to get out of the house.
The next day Bagga gets fired because the restaurant didn't get the Meraki Award. Bagga tells Chadha that she wants a divorce. He obliged her unwillingly. Bagga leaves for Mussoorie to work in a hotel there. The film continues as Bagga gets in trouble because of her carelessness.
Director Anand Tiwari touches on a unique story regarding heteropaternal superfecundation, which is a rare phenomenon of conceiving two children from different fathers. He took in the topic and turned it into a romantic comedy, making it light and entertaining.
Kaushal's performance is excellent playing the role of a mama's boy. Kaushal's acting livens up the film, making it an interesting one.
It is also pleasing to see Dimri's beautiful face on the screen. Although her acting was mediocre, she managed to captivate the audience with her looks.
Another notable actor is Ammy Virk as Gurbir Singh Panu who played an honest-to-goodness man. His superb performance brings life to a character who takes responsibility for his actions.
Kaushal and Virk are the highlights of the film.
Bad Newz gives a moral lesson on a reckless one-night stand.
Bolly.id rate Bad Newz with three achas, acha, acha, acha.
